One of the ways Hope for Chicago lives out its vision and mission is by calling people to create new initiatives. These initiatives may be justice issues that have been on their heart or that they have seen in their neighborhood. Our desire is that individuals will use the gifts and passions God has given them to create something new, something that will produce gospel-centered, justice-bearing, exponential results in Chicago.
Hope for Chicago has several training and conversation opportunites. Our desire is that these will lead us to a greater understanding of God’s heart for justice and a greater practice of that justice in the city.
The Just Life - The Just Life meets quarterly, generally on a Thursday evening at 7pm. These meetings are meant to start conversations that start movements or initiatives to do justice in Chicago. To join the conversation please contact Justice Team Lead, Brian Kammerzelt at Brian.Kammerzelt@moody.edu

Book Clubs - We learn by reading about others who are practitioners. We are educated and sent out on mission by those who have gone before us. The Book Clubs seek to be a catalyst for sending us on mission to do justice in our city. To learn more and join a club please contact Sam Smith at ssmith@hope4chicago.org
Movie and Documentary Viewings - We also are visual learners. Therefore we will have periodic viewings of movies and documentaries that have justice themes. The Viewing Nights will include food and discussion. We desire these viewings to serve as a catalyst to doing justice in our city.
Conferences
Conferences - Hope for Chicago is a partner with several conferences in Chicago. These conferences are meant to educate and empower people concerning the justice issues in our city and our world. Leading practitioners from around the world speak at these conferences. To find out more and to get involved contact Sam Smith at ssmith@hope4chicago.org.
